Terms of Use
Dateworthy is operated by Pappas Productions LLC. By creating an account or using Dateworthy, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. You must be 18 or older
Dateworthy is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the service. We may remove any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.
2. Eligibility to use the app
To keep this community safe, everyone must meet these rules to use Dateworthy:
- You have no history of domestic or dating violence.
- You are not listed on any sex-offender or violent-offender registry.
When you create your profile, you attest that all of the above is true. If we find that someone joined in violation of these rules, their account will be removed and their information will be reported to the appropriate authorities. This is a self-attestation, not a background check, and it does not replace your own judgment.
3. The ground rules
Before you can build a profile you acknowledge seven rules, one at a time. They are the same seven here as in the app:
- No solicitation
- No offering, requesting, arranging, or agreeing to sex or any service for money or anything of value, anywhere. Break it and you’re banned.
- Consent, always
- Never send an explicit photo without a clear yes. In Texas and a growing number of states, sending an unsolicited explicit photo is a crime. Asking what “explicit” means or lawyering around it is an instant ban.
- Be who you say you are
- Real photos, real age, real you. Catfishing gets you removed.
- 18+ only
- Any minor in your photos must have their face blurred or covered with an emoji. Any attempt to involve or contact a minor is reported to authorities. No exceptions.
- Respect a no
- An unmatch, a no, or silence is the end of it. Harassment, threats, or pressure gets you banned.
- Keep it on the app
- Don’t push people to Snap, Insta, WhatsApp, or your number before they’re ready. Dodging our safety tools is an instant ban.
- Five conversations at a time
- Five conversations at a time. Nobody gets strung along. Close one, or let one go quiet for a few days, to start another.
4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Dateworthy. This includes harassment, hate speech, threats, nudity or sexually explicit profile content, content that sexualizes minors, impersonation, spam, scams, and anything illegal.
You can report content or a user from any profile and from any chat, and you can block anyone at any time. We review reports and act on valid ones promptly, typically within 24 hours, including removing content and suspending or permanently banning the account responsible. 5. Your account
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. Keep access to your phone secure. One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
6. Acceptable use
Be a real person, use your own photos, and treat other people with respect. Do not use Dateworthy to harass, deceive, solicit money, promote a business, collect other people’s information, or break the law. Do not try to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, prompts, and messages you add. You grant Pappas Productions LLC a limited license to host and display that content solely to operate Dateworthy for you and the people you interact with. You are responsible for the content you share and confirm you have the right to share it.
8. Private (“shadow”) answers
Your private answers are never shown on your profile. They are used only to decide whether you match other people’s private filters. Other people never learn what anyone searched, and you can change or delete your answers at any time. See the Privacy Policy for how they are stored.
9. Safety
Dateworthy does not conduct criminal background checks on users and cannot guarantee anyone’s identity or conduct. Use your own judgment: meet in public, tell a friend your plans, and keep conversations on the app until you trust someone. You interact with other users at your own risk. 10. Fees
Dateworthy is free to use today, including seeing everyone who likes you. We may add optional paid features later; if we do, the terms and price will be shown before you buy anything.
11. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from your profile, which removes your profile, photos, and private answers. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or that puts other users at risk. If that happens to you, you can appeal to a person.
12. Disclaimers and limits
Dateworthy is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pappas Productions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms as the app changes. If we make a material change, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Dateworthy after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
